Flat Roofing
Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing is one of the most reliable and energy-efficient solutions for flat and low-slope roofs. Known for its durability, heat-reflective properties, and ease of installation, TPO provides exceptional protection against UV rays, punctures, and weathering. This project highlights our expertise in installing high-performance TPO systems that deliver long-term value, watertight integrity, and a clean, modern appearance — ideal for both commercial and residential applications.
Why Replace Tar and Gravel?
While tar and gravel roofs were once a popular choice, they come with several drawbacks compared to modern materials like TPO. Tar and gravel systems are heavy, prone to leaks as the surface cracks over time, and difficult to locate and repair when leaks occur. They also absorb heat rather than reflect it, leading to higher energy costs and faster roof degradation. TPO, by contrast, is lightweight, reflective, and energy-efficient — offering superior weather resistance, lower maintenance, and a cleaner, more sustainable roofing solution.
Mid-Construction Overview
This stage of the project shows the critical steps in building a high-performing TPO roofing system. Here, the insulation boards have been installed to create a solid, energy-efficient base layer, and the mounting plates and fasteners are secured to anchor the membrane. One section of TPO has been rolled out and partially welded, illustrating the precision and attention to detail that go into every phase of installation. Each seam is heat-welded to ensure a watertight bond, resulting in a clean, durable, and energy-efficient finish once complete.
